Bruised heel
A bruised heel or Policeman’s heel is an overuse injury where the protective fat pad under your heel becomes compressed. As a result bruising occurs as well as stress reaction injury to the calcaneus bone in your heel. Wear the Gel heel pad all the time until your symptoms resolve. Make sure you wear them in both feet because otherwise one leg is longer than the other, leading to secondary injuries.

Plantar fasciitis
Plantar fasciitis is the most common cause of pain under the heel. Gel heel pads relieve pressure on the painful part of your heel, allowing it to rest and begin to recover. If your feet overpronate or flatten as you walk, then consider full orthotic type insoles as well.

Achilles tendonitis
