Pixfra Draco D225-4K
Powerful Thermal Imaging
The Draco D225-4K features a 256×192 thermal sensor, detecting small heat signatures and subtle temperature differences at distances of up to 1,300 m. Its <18mK NETD thermal sensitivity provides clear, information-rich thermal imagery, even in adverse environmental conditions such as fog or heavy rain.
PIPS 3.0 AI Driven Image Enhancement
PIPS 3.0 is Pixfra’s advanced AI super-resolution imaging technology.
It incorporates:
-
AI ISP to enhance imaging for visible-light and thermal channels
-
AI ISR for improved detail sharpness and clarity
These combined technologies optimise every frame to deliver consistent image clarity across all viewing modes.
0.49” Display with Rounded UI
A high-definition 1920×1080 OLED display offers a comfortable two-eyed viewing experience. The rounded-edge UI design mimics the classic feel of traditional binoculars, improving ease of use and familiarity.
Automatic Day/Night Mode
The D225-4K automatically detects ambient light levels and switches between full-colour day optics and black-and-white night vision. This automatic mode ensures seamless operation — ideal for transitional lighting such as dawn or dusk.
Built-In Laser Rangefinder
A built-in laser rangefinder accurately measures distances up to 1,000 m, providing essential range data without disturbing wildlife.
Replaceable IR Illuminator
The device includes support for a detachable 850 nm or 940 nm IR illuminator, allowing enhanced visibility in extremely low-light conditions when required.
Extended Battery Life
Powered by a dual 18650 battery system, the Draco offers up to 9 hours of runtime depending on temperature. Four 18650 batteries are supplied, and the device supports charging via AC power or an external power bank.
Compact & Lightweight Design
Despite its advanced feature set, the Draco remains compact and easy to handle. Its magnesium-alloy construction provides durability while keeping weight to a minimum for long periods of observation.
Intuitive Control Design
The binoculars feature:
-
A multi-function control wheel for smooth zoom adjustment
-
A four-button interface for quick access to common functions
-
Silent operation buttons to avoid disturbing wildlife during observation
Other Features
-
Foldable eyecups
-
Electronic Image Stabilisation (EIS)
-
Defog mode
-
Built-in Wi-Fi with app compatibility
-
64GB onboard storage
